“Just listed” is information.

But information alone doesn't make someone stop scrolling.

“This backyard is where your kids spend the next ten summers.”

That's a story.

Facts describe the property. Stories help people imagine their life inside it.

Bedrooms, square footage, school district, price: buyers need all of it. But those details answer a question the buyer has already asked. A story answers the one they haven't said out loud yet: what would my life look like here?

The strongest real estate marketing uses both

The details are what let someone qualify the home. The emotion is what makes them care enough to look. Lead with the facts alone and you get a post that reads like every other listing in the feed. Lead with the feeling alone and you leave serious buyers with nothing to act on. The work is knowing when to use each, and putting them in the same post.

A listing is short. Your brand isn't.

A listing may only be on the market for a few weeks. The way you market it can build your brand for years. Every listing post is also a small piece of evidence about the kind of agent you are: the one who announces, or the one who helps people see themselves home.
